Where We Are
Although physically located in South Jersey, due to the powers and innovation of technology, M. Root Bookkeeping is able to serve clients across the country! Many clients choose to scan documents and send them via email or through secure file-sharing services, such as Dropbox.
About the Owner
My name is Maia Root and I have a passion for numbers, organization, and helping individuals feel confident around their finances.
I began my career as an accountant and worked as a tax professional for five years (some of which at a big four accounting firm). After moving to a billing role and doing bookkeeping on the side, I decided to pursue a career in bookkeeping full-time in October 2019. It was the best career decision I ever made!
In my spare time I enjoy cooking, exercising, and spending time with my family. When the weather is nice, I love being outside and working in the garden or going for a walk around the neighborhood.
